We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Highway Discipline Leader to join our team in Houston. As a key member of our transportation design team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of engineers, managing complex transportation design projects, and developing business opportunities in the Houston market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers in the design and delivery of transportation projects, including highways, interchanges, and roadways.
  • Project Management: Manage complex transportation design projects from conceptualization to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue business opportunities in the Houston market, developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring high-quality design and delivery of transportation projects.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited university.
  • Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in civil design, with at least 8 years in highway and roadway-related facilities.
  • Licensure: Texas PE licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months of starting.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and project management skills, excellent communication and technical skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
