We are seeking a proficient and dedicated Aircraft Maintenance Technician to ensure the safety and functionality of our aviation equipment.

Your responsibilities will encompass the maintenance, inspection, and repair of the aircraft's structural, mechanical, and electronic systems. This includes evaluating wear, replacing components, and determining the necessity for repairs or replacements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct aircraft maintenance and repairs in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Adhere to company and repair station manuals, policies, and procedures.
  • Participate in FAA ASAP and Skyborne SMS Programs.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:


- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in General Aviation, including 100-hour and annual inspections, sheet metal repairs, and system troubleshooting.

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.

- Professional demeanor and positive attitude.

- Strong attention to detail and proficiency with hand tools.

- Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals.

- Effective communication and teamwork skills.

- Familiarity with firefighting and first aid equipment.


Education and Experience:

- High school diploma/GED or some college education from a two-year technical school is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Candidates must successfully complete a drug screening and background check.


Software Skills:

The following skills are required:

  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to engage with various management levels professionally.
  • Typing speed of 40+ wpm is preferred.

Additional Information:

This is a full-time position requiring flexibility for weekend work.

Compensation starts at $30.00 per hour, based on experience.

Benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), 401k investment options, 18 days of PTO, 5 sick days, and 9 holidays.

SEGULA Technologies also offers our Aircraft Maintenance Technicians the opportunity to pursue a Private Pilot's license after one year of service, with support for ground school training valued at $12,000.

Our experienced Certified Flight Instructors will be available to assist you throughout your flight training.
