The Line Maintenance Supervisor is tasked with overseeing line and hangar maintenance operations, possessing the authority to delegate tasks to Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs). This role is accountable for all maintenance-related activities within their designated area, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company policies. Additionally, the Supervisor will perform AMT duties and report directly to the Manager of Line Maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Execute all assigned maintenance tasks in accordance with the Breeze General Maintenance Manual (GMM).
  • Allocate AMTs and associated personnel based on work package requirements or directives from Maintenance Operations Control (MOC).
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to swiftly resolve issues impacting maintenance operations.
  • Ensure that maintenance activities align with assignments from Maintenance Planning and adhere to Breeze policies and procedures.
  • Guarantee that all maintenance and operational tasks comply with Breeze safety protocols.
  • Keep MOC updated on aircraft status concerning technical delays and out-of-service (OOS) periods.
  • Review all maintenance documentation and the Maintenance Information System (MIS) for accuracy and completeness, ensuring timely updates on delays.
  • Complete work turnover processes.
  • Verify that AMTs have received the necessary training for maintenance-related responsibilities.
  • Ensure the availability of materials and equipment required for task completion.
  • Conduct safety briefings as necessary and maintain a safe, clean work environment with a focus on preventing Foreign Object Damage (FOD).
  • Authorize overtime, vacation, and training schedules.
  • Ensure compliance of direct-reporting AMTs with the Breeze Team Services Playbook-Handbook.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Achieve performance metrics and adhere to established standards in alignment with Breeze Aviation Group Values: Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence.
Qualifications for Success
Minimum Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P) with a clean record and recent experience on commercial aircraft.
  • Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug screening.
  • Must pass a TSA-required fingerprint-based criminal history check and a Breeze background verification.
  • 5+ years of aviation maintenance experience with commercial aircraft.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Must have a valid passport with no travel restrictions.
  • Ability to travel freely to and from the United States.
  • Authorization to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations, particularly FAR part 121 operations.
  • Experience with Embraer E-Jet family aircraft.
  • 2+ years in a management or leadership capacity.
  • Knowledge of airline Maintenance Information Systems (MIS) such as TRAX.
  • Understanding of Safety Management System (SMS) principles.
  • Degree in Aerospace, Aviation Maintenance, or Business.
