About the Role

Bombardier is a leading manufacturer of business aircraft, and we are seeking a skilled Structures Technician to join our team at the Hartford Service Center.

As a Structures Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and inspecting aircraft structures, as well as fabricating and modifying structural components. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex structural issues on aircraft
  • Inspect and test aircraft structures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Fabricate and modify structural components, including composite materials
  • Assist in conducting hidden damage inspections of aircraft structures
  • Collaborate with other technicians to complete complex repairs and modifications
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in corporate aircraft structural sheet metal repair and modification
  • Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Basic set of hand tools and ability to demonstrate inventory and control of tools
  • Ability to obtain Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications as required
  • Ability to work unscheduled overtime, including non-scheduled work days and holidays
  • Ability to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside
  • A Certification, A&P Certificate, or Repairman Certificate (preferred)
