Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Account Strategist, you will collaborate closely with your teammates, Account Managers, Client Partners, and product teams. You will play a vital role in constructing and executing campaigns, as well as analyzing and optimizing performance throughout the campaign lifecycle. Your daily tasks will include:
  • Designing, launching, and refining advertising campaigns.
  • Monitoring and resolving campaign-related challenges; testing and troubleshooting new advertising products.
  • Quickly experimenting and learning. Employing creative problem-solving skills and data analysis to enhance campaigns towards client performance objectives (such as CTR, CPA, ROAS, ROI).
  • Utilizing statistical software to analyze data; transforming complex findings into clear tables, graphs, and written reports.
  • Demonstrating flexibility and readiness to manage various operational tasks and advertiser inquiries.
  • Ensuring quality control across all campaigns by collaborating with Account Management to verify material accuracy, enforcing a structured QA process, and facilitating effective pre-launch communication between teams.
  • Actively seeking opportunities for process improvement, taking initiative to conduct tests and experiments.
  • Participating in team events, training sessions, volunteer days, and other team-building activities.
  • Building in-person relationships with team members and contributing to the KIND culture that Nextdoor values.
What You Bring to the Team
  • Approximately 2 years of experience in advertising operations, campaign management, optimization strategy, project management, or a related operational role.
  • Experience managing campaigns with both awareness and performance objectives, along with the ability to leverage client data for optimization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Capability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume, and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • An analytical mindset and a curious nature.
  • Proficient in Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros).

Compensation and Benefits

Nextdoor offers a comprehensive rewards package that includes compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs.

The compensation structure for this position consists of a base salary plus a commission component with an 80/20 split. Commission will vary based on the achievement of sales-related objectives. The expected on-target earnings (OTE), inclusive of base salary and commission, ranges from $88,000 to $115,000 annually, with potential for higher earnings based on proficiency levels.

Additionally, a significant equity grant is anticipated for this role, with quarterly vesting starting within the first three months of employment.

Overall compensation will vary based on relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
