We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Technician to join our team at Rutland Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our Psychiatric Services Inpatient Unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist providers and leadership in the treatment and care of psychiatric patients
* Perform various duties to support patient care, including observation, documentation, and communication
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements

* High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
* Health or mental health care experience preferred
* Certificate in mental health technology or related field, such as licensed nursing assistant preferred
* BLS Certification through American Heart Association
* Completion of endorsed patient/visitor de-escalation and restraint program certification

* Excellent interpersonal and observation skills
* Ability to remain calm and think and act effectively in high stress situations
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated moderate knowledge of basic computer skills
