As a Psychiatric Technician at Rutland Regional Medical Center, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients on our Inpatient Unit. Under the supervision of providers, leadership, or RNs, you will perform various duties to assist in the treatment and care of psychiatric patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of treatment plans and provide support to patients in a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Monitor patient behavior and report any concerns or observations to the care team.
  • Participate in patient education and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Health or mental health care experience preferred.
  • Certificate in mental health technology or related field, such as licensed nursing assistant, preferred.
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association required within 1 month of hire.

Competitive Compensation

  • Pay Range: $25.66
  • Competitive differentials rates: $4.25 - Evenings, $8.00 - Nights, $4.75 - Weekends
