As a Cybersecurity Assurance Engineer, you will contribute to ensuring the safety of current operations while paving the way for smarter solutions in the future.
Position Summary:
General Dynamics is seeking a Security Engineer to provide expert technical services across all facets of Information Security.
Your responsibilities will include drafting information security policies, reviewing Memorandum of Agreements, and managing all aspects of Certification and Accreditation processes. You will also advise on system design and architecture, define and evaluate information security systems, and manage multi-agency information sharing and integration security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct incident response and system access approvals.
- Review audit logs and participate in Configuration Control Board activities.
- Document and investigate security incidents, assisting in the development and implementation of corrective measures.
Additionally, you will be expected to:
- Possess knowledge of ICD 503 and be familiar with Cloud Infrastructure/AWS-based solutions.
- Ensure compliance with Information Security procedures and support the operation, maintenance, and disposal of information system materials.
- Generate and implement necessary security training to ensure user awareness of responsibilities.
Unique/Additional Requirements:
Candidate must have a solid understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and how to meet system security requirements. You will collaborate with various IT groups to ensure security is integrated from the beginning of system development.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
Qualifications:
10-15 years of experience in data security administration.
