About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal Specialist to join our team at Integrated Talent Strategies. This is a direct hire position that offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a retirement savings plan with employer profit sharing contributions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document Preparation and Review: Prepare, edit, and proofread a variety of documents, including correspondence, agreements, and pleadings.
  • Litigation Support: Work with attorneys to keep litigation advancing in each case, including taking the initiative to regularly update team members on the status of cases and quickly alerting attorneys to important client and case needs.
  • Discovery and Document Management: Assist attorneys with discovery, including discovery requests, depositions, and issuing subpoenas. Manage electronic case files using a document management system (iManage) to ensure information is organized and easy to locate.
  • Trial Preparation: Prepare for trial, including compiling trial materials, coordinating witnesses, preparing and issuing trial subpoenas, preparing and managing exhibits, and attending trial.
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years of litigation law firm experience, with defense experience preferred.
  • Travel and Flexibility: Ability to travel nationwide to attend trial. Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to anticipate challenges and exercise independent judgment to make sound decisions and take effective action.
  • Client Billing and Compliance: Familiarity with and ability to follow client billing guidelines, enter and record accurate billing entries.
