Job Overview

Position: Corporate Sales Manager

We are seeking a Corporate Sales Manager to join our dynamic team at Excel Hotel Group. This role offers the chance to engage with various brands and diverse responsibilities, pushing you to innovate and implement effective strategies that boost revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate in formulating sales and marketing strategies for designated properties.
  • Deliver sales training to hotel staff as necessary.
  • Evaluate revenue management tactics utilizing tools such as Star Reports and demand analysis.
  • Arrange sales meetings and conduct a requisite number of solicitation calls.
  • Organize, maintain, and monitor sales data efficiently.
  • Fulfill requests from General Manager and other management personnel as required.
  • Provide weekly summaries of sales activities and follow-up actions to the Corporate Director of Sales.
  • Engage in sales conference calls as needed.
  • Assume essential duties of the Director of Sales/Sales Manager in their absence.
  • Travel to various properties may be necessary based on sales requirements.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, coordinating details and special requests effectively.
  • Distribute relevant materials and direct inquiries to the sales management team as needed.
  • Conduct site tours when required.
  • Coordinate the provision of necessary equipment and catering for meeting rooms with other departments.
  • Participate in sales calls and blitzes alongside the Sales Department, serving as a key contact for hotel accounts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality sales or management is required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to produce routine reports and engage effectively in group settings.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities and a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Capability to address issues involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Experience with properties of comparable size and quality is essential.
