Job Summary and Qualifications
The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating with medical professionals, the RN provides both pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. The RN acts as an advocate for patients to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
  • Promotes customer service initiatives aligned with Skyline Medical Center Service Values.
  • Exhibits behaviors that fully support positive customer service.
  • Documents all patient care accurately.
  • Utilizes the Nursing Process for individualized care to meet patient needs.
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform technical skills and procedures.
  • Ensures compliance with National Patient Safety Goals. Assesses patient condition during admission and throughout each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
Performs procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly.
Administers prescribed medications and monitors patient responses.
Maintains knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

Qualifications:


Current Registered Nurse license in Tennessee or an appropriate compact state. Strong communication skills. Education – ASN, BSN preferred. TriStar Skyline Medical Center is a 250+ bed facility.

We offer a CARF accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation program and are an ACS verified Level II Trauma Center.
