Incentives include a $15,000 sign-on bonus, distributed in 20% increments every six months over two years. (This includes the initial payment, followed by payments at 6, 12, 18, and 24 months). A commitment of six months is required; should you leave before this period, repayment of the initial payment is necessary. However, if you remain beyond six months, no repayment is required for any funds received if you decide to leave thereafter.

Job Summary and Qualifications
The Surgical Services Registered Nurse delivers direct patient care in accordance with the Registered Nurse Practice Act.

Utilizing therapeutic communication, you will maintain a safe and supportive environment while identifying nursing challenges tailored to the individual needs of each patient. You will plan personalized patient care through an interdisciplinary approach and engage in performance improvement initiatives.

As a charge nurse, you will oversee daily operations to ensure quality patient care in a therapeutic setting. Responsibilities include making staff assignments based on patient needs, acuity, and staff skill levels, serving as a role model and clinical resource for the team, and responding promptly to requests for information or follow-up regarding physician, staff, or patient matters.


Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs while executing physician orders.
- Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
- Document and communicate patient conditions appropriately using computerized documentation systems.
- Educate and instruct patients and families as part of a Multidisciplinary Care Planning team.
Qualifications:

- Registered Nurse with an Associate Degree.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or CPR certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Experience as an OR Circulator is required.
