Lead Project Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to take charge of capital projects across more than 10 facilities in the US and LATAM. This role will involve collaborating with operations to enhance process efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of capital projects from inception to completion.
- Develop, engineer, implement, and monitor all project aspects effectively.
- Collaborate with facilities on the creation and execution of Capital Appropriation Requests.
- Manage the development, procurement, installation, commissioning, and formal project closure.
- Maintain strict control over project budgets and ensure transparency in spending from concept through to closure.
- Lead and participate in internal and external reviews, progress meetings, and document project statuses and challenges.
- Facilitate and execute Continuous Improvement initiatives by assessing facility and equipment capital requirements, maintenance programs, and production processes.
- Support maintenance and sustainability initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A proactive and positive attitude.
- Experience in an FMCG manufacturing setting (Food, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Personal Care, etc.) is preferred.
- Background in manufacturing plants or corporate engineering roles is advantageous.
- Familiarity with food manufacturing processes, including drying and liquid compounding, is a plus.
- Project Management certification (e.g., Prince 2, PMP) is preferred.
- Willingness to travel, typically up to 50%, with potential increases during construction and startup phases.
