We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to take charge of capital projects across more than 10 facilities within our network in the US and LATAM. This role involves collaborating with operations to enhance process efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all phases of capital projects from conception to completion.
  • Capable of designing, executing, and supervising all project components.
  • Engage with facilities to formulate and implement Capital Appropriation Requests.
  • Manage the development, procurement, installation, commissioning, and formal project closure.
  • Maintain strict oversight of project budgets and ensure transparent spending forecasts throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead and participate in internal and external project reviews, documenting progress and addressing any issues.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives by assessing facility and equipment capital requirements, maintenance strategies, and production workflows.
  • Support maintenance and sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A proactive and positive mindset.
  • Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Background in manufacturing plants or corporate engineering roles is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with food manufacturing processes, including drying and liquid compounding, is preferred.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., Prince 2, PMP) is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel, typically up to 50%, with potential increases during construction and startup phases.
