We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team at Jefferson Health. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive high-quality care by accurately and efficiently registering patients for outpatient services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Registration and Scheduling: Accurately and efficiently register patients for outpatient services, including verifying demographic and insurance information, and obtaining necessary signatures.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure that all necessary information is obtained and that patients are prepared for their appointments.
  • Problem-Solving: Utilize strong problem-solving skills to resolve issues and concerns that may arise during the registration process.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Previous customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Skills: Proficient in the use of computers, with typing speed of 35 wpm; knowledge of medical terminology and insurance plans.
