Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team at Jefferson Health. As a Patient Access Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and families, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they arrive at our facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with a professional and welcoming demeanor
• Verify patient demographic and insurance information
• Collect and process payments, including co-pays and deductibles
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
• Previous customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Proficient in the use of computers and medical terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
