About the Job:
The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals from birth through the lifecycle. This involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient. As a member of our team, you will function within the framework of Piedmont Healthcare's policies and procedures, demonstrating professional growth and accountability.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients based on individualized assessments and care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
- BLS certification required.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a hospital setting (required for PRN positions).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred.
