Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and guide prospective patients and visitors, initiating the admissions journey.
  • Oversee daily admission metrics to ensure targets are achieved.
  • Manage and maintain all necessary admission documentation.
  • Serve as the primary contact between county health departments and various referral sources.
  • Compile end-of-month admissions reports in preparation for departmental meetings.
  • Conduct telephone screenings, arrange appointments, and gather patient information for intake purposes.
  • Secure signed authorizations and acknowledgments during the admission process using our electronic health records system.
  • Collaborate with all departments and leadership to facilitate a seamless admission process and deliver outstanding patient care.
  • Maintain and update admissions logs accurately.
  • Verify legal and insurance information for initial patients and ensure ongoing insurance verification as required.
  • Establish patient files and prepare necessary documentation for new admissions.
  • Ensure the proper upkeep of office equipment and procure supplies as needed.

Qualifications:
A minimum of a High School Diploma is required.

Preferred Experience:
Background in addiction and/or mental health treatment is highly desirable.
Familiarity with admissions processes is strongly preferred.
