Role Summary:

The Production Operator plays a crucial role in supporting all aspects of the collaborative production workflow. This includes managing automated production and packaging machinery, identifying equipment malfunctions, making minor adjustments, or reaching out to the appropriate personnel for support, as well as assisting in operator preventive maintenance and cleanliness of all associated equipment. This position is designed to ensure comprehensive understanding of the entire production and packaging operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify that food products meet established quality standards.
  • Operate and fine-tune machinery and equipment to guarantee precision and adherence to food specifications.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of workspaces, machinery, and equipment, while consistently following safety regulations.
  • Assemble, configure, initiate, and halt equipment for start-ups, changeovers, and specific production requirements.
  • Maintain continuous compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Follow the production schedule, running order, and recipes diligently.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned or necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of equipment and products.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and product issues.
