Role Summary:

The Production Operator plays a vital role in supporting all aspects of a collaborative production environment. This includes operating automated machinery and packaging systems, identifying equipment malfunctions, making minor adjustments, and collaborating with relevant personnel for further assistance. Additionally, the operator will assist in the preventative maintenance and cleanliness of all associated equipment. Mastery of the complete production and packaging workflow is expected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all food products meet established quality standards.
  • Operate and fine-tune machinery and equipment to maintain precision and adherence to food specifications.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Keep workspaces, machinery, and equipment organized and sanitized, while consistently following safety protocols.
  • Set up, initiate, and halt equipment for production starts, changeovers, and specific line requirements.
  • Maintain continuous compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Follow the production schedule, running order, and recipes accurately.
  • Perform additional tasks as required or assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with equipment and product specifications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and product issues effectively.
