The Senior Production Technician plays a crucial role in all aspects of our collaborative production workflow. This includes operating automated production and packaging machinery, diagnosing equipment malfunctions, and performing minor adjustments or seeking assistance when necessary. The technician will assist in operator preventive maintenance and uphold hygiene standards for all related equipment. Mastery of the complete production and packaging process is expected, requiring flexibility and adaptability to rotate job assignments as needed. Monitoring equipment and food quality in accordance with Aspire Bakeries standards is essential, along with making timely and precise decisions that impact order fulfillment and product quality. Additionally, it is the responsibility of the Senior Production Technician to help maintain a safe working environment for themselves, their colleagues, and our customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all food products meet established quality standards.
  • Operate and fine-tune machinery and equipment to guarantee accuracy and compliance with food specifications.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Keep work areas, machinery, and equipment clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations at all times.
  • Assemble, set up, initiate, and halt equipment for production starts, changeovers, and specific line requirements.
  • Consistently adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Follow the production schedule, running orders, and recipes diligently.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or required.


Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of equipment and products.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and product issues effectively.
