Position Overview:

Job Title: Controls Sales Professional

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture relationships with potential clients in the construction industry.
  • Create and deliver automation sales presentations, identify new building opportunities, and provide competitive quotes to contractors.
  • Oversee all elements of construction bidding processes.
  • Participate in industry trade shows for networking and account management.
  • Research and identify prospective projects through various channels such as bid boards, direct outreach, and market analysis.
  • Engage with potential clients including mechanical contractors, general contractors, consulting engineers, end users, and electrical contractors.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager, Project Managers, and Engineering Team to enhance existing programs and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Utilize analytical and solution-oriented approaches to drive sales growth and profitability within the Georgia market.
  • Prepare, write, and review client proposal documents, ensuring adherence to financial and technical standards using company templates.
  • Develop sales strategies aimed at achieving defined profit margins and expanding market share.
  • Continuously enhance industry knowledge and stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and product innovations.
  • Eligible for sales incentives based on performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial HVAC, with 3-5 years in Controls being advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven sales aptitude with strong customer engagement capabilities.
  • Financial literacy, including cost modeling for sales proposals.
  • Experience in drafting technical proposals.
  • Ability to make independent decisions.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly strong skills in MS Excel.
