Job Title: HVAC Controls Specialist

Trane Technologies is seeking an experienced HVAC Controls Specialist to join our team in the Atlanta, GA area. As an HVAC Controls Specialist, you will be responsible for setting up and commissioning Building Automation Systems on diverse job sites in and around the Atlanta, GA area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with team leader and customer to precisely understand requirements for all on-site installation and repairs by forecasting issues, gathering materials and synchronizing on-site work.
  • Keeps current on Trane products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems.
  • Continually enforces safety to the highest standards and maintains security and accountability of company issued and procured assets by recording use, wear and conditions.

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with commercial controls and BAS systems.
  • Previous experience with DDC controls system preferred.
  • Previous background in programming, commissioning and startup of Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, or Tridium/Niagara based controls systems is highly desirable.
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft office and comfortable with hand-held devices (i.e. Smartphone, iPad).
  • A valid driver's license, with no major or frequent traffic violations.
  • EPA Certification Preferred.
  • Ability to work on-call rotation and/or overtime to support the business, including occasional overnight stays.
