Sales Leader - HVAC Wholesale

The Sales Leader position at Team Air Distributing is responsible for driving sales and profitability growth in an assigned region. This role involves implementing strategic sales plans, working closely with Territory Managers, and providing focus and direction to achieve regional objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional sales and profitability goals.
  • Collaborate with Territory Managers to maintain and recommend product positioning and pricing strategies.
  • Provide regular sales performance reviews and feedback to Territory Managers.
  • Monitor competitor products, sales, and marketing activities in the assigned region.
  • Meet with key customers regularly to maintain relationships and negotiate deals.
  • Develop and implement programs to increase sales and/or margin.

Areas of Ownership

· Sales Growth of Assigned Region

· Manage Margin Expectations Within Region

· Manage, Develop and Hire Territory Managers

· Product Mix

· Understand Market Pricing

· Assist in Facilitating Price Books

· Customer Technology Adoption

· Maintain the Highest Level of Customer Service

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in HVAC wholesale distribution.
  • 3 years of outside sales experience in HVAC wholesale distribution.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position manages all Territory Managers in the assigned region and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of employees within the team.
