Job Title: Security Sales Representative – CCTV, Access Control and Fire
Position Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for creating and selling innovative customized security and/or fire alarm offerings that meet the diverse needs and budgets of our clients.
- Create multiple proposals that allow customers to accomplish their varied goals, needs and budgets.
- Develop security and/or fire alarm offerings to potential customers, leveraging your expertise in local codes and regulations.
- Build strong relationships with customers, fostering loyalty and retention through exceptional customer service and relationship building skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to close sales based on value, not price, by effectively communicating the benefits of our solutions.
- Promote collaboration, partnerships and positive relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques, and recommending improvements.
- Maintain customer confidence by keeping customer information confidential.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
Position Requirements:
- Ability to work well with others both internally and externally in stressful situations.
- Advanced written, verbal, customer service and relationship building skills.
- Candidates should have experience in either: Security Sales or Fire Alarm Sales with knowledge of local codes.
- Demonstrates problem-solving and negotiating skills.
- Intimate knowledge of sales and marketing strategies.
- High presentation and demonstration skills.
- Ability to operate effectively with minimal supervision.
- Keeps current with market conditions and product trends.
- Computer skills with knowledge of MS Office 365.
Working Condition / Physical Requirements:
- Office environment: Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
