Job Summary

The Operations Manager is a key role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our facilities. This includes managing workflow processes, meeting performance goals, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage the efficient and timely fulfillment of orders, custom requests, and inquiries, while maintaining accurate inventory control and meeting performance goals.
  • Continuously review and improve team member productivity and efficiency, providing coaching and counseling as needed.
  • Ensure all work is performed within specified turnaround times, managing team member workload, schedules, and time off.
  • Oversee team member safety, security, and customer asset protection, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate and interact with team members to optimize task performance and maintain high morale.
  • Manage the allocation and utilization of manpower, equipment, and resources, ensuring optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct interviews for new team members and ensure compliance with company hiring procedures.
  • Develop and maintain measurable standards and expectations for each position, ensuring open communication and transparency.
  • Provide leadership and training to team members, setting a personal example and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Monitor team member performance, providing feedback and coaching to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and report all accidents and injuries properly.
  • Perform daily operational tasks, including inventory management, R/C audits, and destruction process management.
  • Purchase equipment and supplies as needed, ensuring compliance with company procurement procedures.
  • Communicate regularly with Branch Manager, GM, or RVP of Operations to report potential issues and ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure facility compliance with annual audit process.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Participate in safety and security drills, reporting any violations to management.
  • Understand and comply with the Company Disaster Recovery Plan.
  • Travel between facilities as needed, collaborating with team members to ensure seamless operations.
  • Participate in quarterly safety meetings and weekly R/C and Transportation Specialist Team Meetings.
Other Responsibilities
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 or 4 year college degree preferred.
  • 6-8 years of experience in data protection operations required.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading service-oriented teams, with a focus on performance appraisals, disciplinary processes, and employee mentoring.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in PC-based computer skills and third-party software systems.
  • Supervisory skills and experience in team-oriented management environments.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to adhere to and enforce security procedures.
  • Leadership and training skills, with the ability to guide and educate team members.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and prioritize competing demands.
Physical Requirements
  • Routine lifting of 20-60 pounds.
  • Routine scanning of materials.
  • Overhead reaching and bending.
  • Certified in operating forklift and/or pick lift.
  • Ability to climb stairs and use tools to maneuver materials.

Competitive pay rate of $70, with a 10% IC Bonus.
