About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at Kyriba. As a key member of our sales organization, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Educate clients on comprehensive Treasury operations and Kyriba's product offerings, identifying opportunities to enhance their financial management processes.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Treasury terminology and concepts, enabling you to effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Qualify leads and nurture non-qualified prospects through targeted outreach and educational resources.
  • Follow up on inquiries from various marketing channels, ensuring timely and effective engagement with potential clients.
  • Execute high-volume outbound calling activities, combined with strategic email marketing campaigns, to drive sales growth.
  • Gather critical information to update client profiles, enabling informed prospecting and sales efforts.
  • Participate in regular training sessions and self-education initiatives to enhance product knowledge and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to share best practices, training, and education, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with sales executives in assigned territories, ensuring seamless handoffs and effective sales cycles.
  • Provide qualified sales-ready opportunities to the field sales organization, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of professional work experience or sales internship, preferably in an inside sales or cold calling environment.
  • Successful track record in sales or customer-facing roles, with a strong ability to handle high outbound call volumes and corresponding talk times.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to learn complex Treasury concepts and incorporate them into daily interactions and conversations.
  • Strong phone, prospecting, sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport with clients and transitioning inquiries to the sales force.
  • Effective listener to understand client needs and preferences.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, including sales executives and product teams.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
