Position Overview

The Lead Member Services Associate at HOPE undertakes a variety of teller, administrative, and clerical responsibilities while ensuring a superior level of customer care and confidentiality. Essential duties encompass processing loan requests, managing member accounts, guiding team members, and engaging in sales initiatives. This position necessitates a candidate with a solid background in customer service, cash management, and consumer lending.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and manage member expectations effectively
  • Meet production and referral goals
  • Accurately and efficiently process loan and account applications
  • Guide and mentor team members as required
  • Address member inquiries and resolve issues
  • Engage in sales and outreach efforts within the community
  • Inform members about HOPE's products and services
  • Comply with cash handling and balancing protocols
  • Assist with branch audits and compliance responsibilities
Required Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or banking
  • Proficient cash handling abilities
  • Prior experience in consumer lending and sales
