Position Overview
The Lead Member Services Associate at HOPE undertakes a variety of teller, administrative, and clerical responsibilities while ensuring a superior level of customer care and confidentiality. Essential duties encompass processing loan requests, managing member accounts, guiding team members, and engaging in sales initiatives. This position necessitates a candidate with a solid background in customer service, cash management, and consumer lending.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service and manage member expectations effectively
- Meet production and referral goals
- Accurately and efficiently process loan and account applications
- Guide and mentor team members as required
- Address member inquiries and resolve issues
- Engage in sales and outreach efforts within the community
- Inform members about HOPE's products and services
- Comply with cash handling and balancing protocols
- Assist with branch audits and compliance responsibilities
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or banking
- Proficient cash handling abilities
- Prior experience in consumer lending and sales
