As the Site HR Director at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a pivotal role in translating business and site strategies into effective HR strategies, plans, and solutions.

Your collaboration with site leadership will be crucial in attracting, nurturing, and engaging top-tier talent, ensuring the organization is poised for both immediate and long-term success.

This role provides an opportunity to lead an HR team and drive operational excellence within a dynamic and regulated environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate HR strategies, solutions, and workforce plans that align with business objectives.
  • Execute HR processes such as talent assessments and performance management within a matrix structure.
  • Develop comprehensive talent management plans, partnering with site leaders to attract, retain, and cultivate talent in essential roles.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR professionals, ensuring the delivery of exceptional HR services.
  • Foster a culture of employee engagement to enhance business performance and operational efficiency.
  • Effectively implement new HR services and processes through strategic communication, training, and change management initiatives.
  • Provide expert guidance and coaching to employees and managers on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary matters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously enhance the colleague experience and strengthen the employee value proposition.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field required; equivalent experience considered; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of HR-related experience, with a focus on increasing responsibility (2+ years leading an HR team preferred).
  • Proficient in effective collaboration and networking.
  • Demonstrated autonomy and strong decision-making capabilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Adept at analyzing and interpreting relevant data to inform business decisions.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR structures and Centers of Excellence.
  • Proven experience in HR strategy development and driving continuous improvement.
  • Experience in influencing and aligning business decisions with senior leadership.

This position may require occasional travel to other Thermo Fisher Scientific locations.
