Job Description

Passavant Memorial Homes is a leading provider of support services for individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, mental health, and behavioral health needs. Our mission is to empower individuals to live successfully in the community. We are seeking responsible, caring, and dedicated individuals to fill full-time Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS) positions in the West Newton area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care services and specialized care in daily living, social, and recreational activities.
  • Assist and support individuals to foster maximum independence.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individual support plans.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals.
  • Assist and encourage individuals to engage in various activities in the home and community.
  • Observe individuals' behaviors and changes in physical condition, utilize prescribed strategies to assist the individual, and document and report accordingly.
  • Administer medications (upon completion of certification; all necessary training is provided).
  • Maintain various records regarding individuals.
  • Perform needed housekeeping and cleaning duties (home and vehicle).

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field (official transcripts must be supplied).
  • Two years of experience working with children with ID or mental health.
