About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Management and Strategy Consultant to join our team at the Office of the Secretary of Defense. As a key member of our Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) office, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of management strategies that drive business growth and development.

Job Summary

This position is located in the OT&E office, which was established by statute and reports directly to the Secretary of Defense and Congress on matters pertaining to Operational Test and Evaluation within the Department of Defense. As a Management and Strategy Consultant, you will work closely with senior leaders to identify and address complex administrative challenges, develop and implement effective solutions, and provide expert analysis to inform decision-making.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in program analysis, management, and strategy development. Your expertise should include experience with quantitative and qualitative methods, data analytics, and contract procurement and management. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a program analyst with oversight of administrative programs supporting the office of DOT&E.
  • Manage administrative programs while serving as a primary source of information for administrative matters pertaining to DOT &E.
  • Provide oversight of the DOT &E Records Management program.
  • Oversee the DOT &E Privacy and Civil Liberties program.
  • Support the DOT&E Contractor Officer Representative in analyses of contract requests for services and procurement to ensure regulatory compliance and other provisions essential to government operations.

Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service that demonstrates applying a wide range of quantitative and qualitative methods to assess and evaluate administrative functions of an organization.

Estimated Salary: $123,000 - $183,000 per year
