Overview:

C4 Technical Services is in search of a proficient and seasoned System Administrator specializing in Windows environments to enhance our IT department. The successful candidate will possess a wealth of experience in Windows operating systems, Citrix management, batch processing, and network architecture. Familiarity with middleware solutions will be considered a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Windows Operating System Management:
  • Install, configure, and sustain Windows operating systems.
  • Execute system updates, patches, and enhancements.
  • Oversee and improve system performance, availability, and dependability.
  • Diagnose and rectify system-related challenges.
Citrix Management:
  • Administer Citrix infrastructure, encompassing XenApp and XenDesktop.
  • Facilitate Citrix application deployment, server oversight, and optimization.
  • Identify and resolve Citrix-related challenges and performance issues.
Batch Processing Management:
  • Establish, manage, and oversee batch processing tasks.
  • Automate routine operations and workflows utilizing batch scripts.
  • Monitor batch job efficiency and troubleshoot any failures.
Network Architecture and Management:
  • Design, implement, and oversee network infrastructure.
  • Ensure network security and adherence to best practices.
  • Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity challenges.
Additional Skills:
  • Experience with middleware tools is a plus.
  • Integrate and manage middleware solutions within the IT framework.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Windows operating system management.
  • Demonstrated experience with Citrix management (XenApp/XenDesktop).
  • Strong expertise in batch processing management and automation.
  • Hands-on experience in network architecture and management.
  • Familiarity with middleware tools is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaborative abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Citrix Certified Professional) are a plus.
