Windows Server Administrator
Location: Marshal, MN or Bloomington, MN
Hybrid: 1-2 days every other week

Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Windows Engineer Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Windows OS, Citrix administration, Windows Batch server management, and network design. Knowledge of Bitalk will be considered a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Windows OS Administration:
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems.
  • Perform system updates, patches, and upgrades.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues
Citrix Administration:
  • Manage Citrix infrastructure, including XenApp and XenDesktop.
  • Perform Citrix application publishing, server management, and optimization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Citrix-related issues and performance bottlenecks.
Windows Batch Server Management:
  • Create, manage, and maintain batch processing jobs.
  • Automate routine tasks and processes using batch scripts.
  • Monitor batch job performance and troubleshoot failures.
Network Design and Administration:
  • Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure.
  • Ensure network security and compliance with best practices.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Additional Skills (Bitalk):
  • Experience with Bitalk or similar middleware tools is a plus.
  • Integrate and manage middleware solutions within the IT infrastructure.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Windows OS administration.
  • Proven experience with Citrix administration (XenApp/XenDesktop).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Batch server management and automation.
  • Hands-on experience in network design and administration.
  • Familiarity with Bitalk or similar middleware tools is advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Citrix Certified Professional) are a plus.
