Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Controls & Automation Engineering, ideally in sectors such as Food/Beverage or Consumer Goods.
  • Proficient in SCADA systems, with a preference for Aveva (Wonderware).
  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix) and advanced ladder logic programming is required.
  • Strong background in HMI Development, particularly with Wonderware (Aveva) Archestra.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles.
  • Experience in the design and specification of process control panels.
  • Advanced skills in process area programming.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with Wonderware MES or similar MES platforms.
  • Experience in .NET programming.
  • Knowledge of SQL database and scripting.
  • Experience with Ethernet/IP Communications in a Plant Control System.

Educational Background:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, or Electronics.

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will engage in controls and automation projects aimed at installing new or upgrading existing manufacturing systems. Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, installing, and commissioning plant controls and automation systems, which encompass PLC programming, HMI development, and MES data collection.
  • Establishing and adhering to process control standards.
  • Collaborating with third-party controls partners to ensure project success.
