Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Roadmap Development: Define and steer the strategic direction for the Alexa Shopping Science team, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical specifications.
  • Point of Contact: Serve as the primary liaison between Alexa Shopping Science, AGI, and delivery teams.
  • Program Lifecycle Management: Oversee the complete program lifecycle, which includes planning, scheduling, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams, product managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize projects, and guarantee successful program execution.
  • Risk Management: Identify and address risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks; escalate issues and facilitate resolutions as necessary.
  • Project Planning: Create comprehensive project plans, monitor progress against milestones, and provide regular updates to leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Decision Facilitation: Drive alignment and consensus across various teams and stakeholders through effective decision-making processes.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously enhance processes, tools, and methodologies to boost program delivery efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical product or program management.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management with direct involvement in software engineering teams.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, establishing processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
  • Experience defining KPIs/SLAs to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
