Job Title: Family Intervention Specialist

At Youth Villages, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Intervention Specialist to join our team. As a Family Intervention Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing intensive home-based therapy to families, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve lasting success.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized therapy sessions to families in their homes, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each family, with a focus on promoting positive change and growth.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, teachers, and healthcare providers, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Provide on-call support to families during evenings and weekends, ensuring that they have access to the support and guidance they need at all times.
Requirements:
  • Masters or Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as social work, counseling, or psychology.
  • At least one year of experience working with at-risk youth and families, preferably in a home-based or community-based setting.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and techniques, including MST and family therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and professionals.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel to family sessions.
