Immediate Hiring
Compensation: Up to $16.75/hour
Position Overview:
The Production Associate - Shared Services will have the chance to receive training and work across various departments within the Distribution Center. Each associate will be assigned a primary department but will rotate through others periodically to gain comprehensive experience.
Department Rotations:
Kaumograph (Heat Press Machine) Department:
- Execute the complete set-up process and daily responsibilities.
- Conduct audits for each carton, ensuring accurate labeling and product verification.
- Follow established processes to apply heat transfers accurately as directed.
Quality Assurance Department:
- Inspect textile products for defects as per request.
- Gather all necessary data for inspections and categorize results accordingly.
- Utilize inspection tools and resources proficiently.
Home Department:
- Assemble packaged products for various retail customers, completing all necessary reports.
- Ensure accurate assembly of each package, including the correct products and labeling.
- Monitor supply levels and communicate replenishment needs to supervisors.
Samples Department:
- Identify and prepare products for shipment.
- Package shipments according to the specific requirements of each division.
- Learn to manage domestic and international shipments using computer systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with team members to complete tasks.
- Maintain a safe and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and conduct.
- Exhibit and promote company values in all actions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in quality control, packaging, inspection, or assembly.
- Background in a manufacturing or distribution setting.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with textiles or packaging.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and tasks.
