Territory Sales Development Representative

The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for fostering customer relationships in a team-based selling model, managing deliveries to the routing schedule published by the transportation department, and communicating with customers to collect accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of sales experience and excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.
About the Role:
This role is perfect for a sales professional who is looking to grow their career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will work closely with the District Sales Manager and Regional Sales Manager to identify top penetration opportunities and new accounts opening. You will leverage market intelligence databases, business directories, and existing client relationships to drive new business growth. Additionally, you will communicate product innovations, market conditions, and competitor products to customers as part of value-added services provided.
Responsibilities:
* Foster customer relationships in a team-based selling model
* Manage deliveries to the routing schedule published by the transportation department
* Communicate and collect accounts receivable from customers
* Identify prospective customers using market intelligence databases and business directories
* Develop new business through cold calling and relationship-building
* Communicate product innovations, market conditions, and competitor products to customers
Requirements:
* 1+ year of sales experience preferred
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business
* Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
* Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and Customer Relationship Management tools
