About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative to join our team at Tradesmen International. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining orders or contracts for Tradesmen's services by educating contractors about our value proposition. You will locate and bring in new business, maintain client relationships, and increase Tradesmen's services and workforce usage.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain and exceed sales goals with an estimated salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, plus uncapped commission.
  • Communicate client needs to the Operations team to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Generate sales leads and prospects through cold calling, email marketing, and other outreach efforts.
  • Make direct sales calls and presentations to potential clients to educate them about our services.
  • Educate prospects and clients about the relationship between a highly skilled workforce and productivity and profitability.
  • Register new clients and educate them about benefits and terms.
  • Collect monies owed Tradesmen on a timely basis to maintain a positive cash flow.
Build Client Relationships
  • Follow up with registered clients to build relationships and create orders.
  • Build relationships with client senior management, office personnel, and jobsite superintendents to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct follow-up communication after Field Employee dispatch to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Deliver periodic Employee evaluations to maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Deal with client issues and complaints in a proactive and professional manner to resolve conflicts efficiently.
Manage Field Employee Relationships
  • Prepare Field Employees for assignments and walk them onto first jobs to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Build Field Employee relationships by calling and visiting jobsites to foster a positive work environment.
  • Address Field Employee issues in a proactive and professional manner to maintain a high level of employee satisfaction.
Manage Sales Process
  • Maintain client sales files to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Attend required meetings to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
  • Complete a Sales Activity Report weekly to provide insights into sales performance.
  • Present a daily plan for the following week to prioritize tasks and achieve sales goals.
  • Respond to work-related injuries to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Support the recruitment process to attract top talent.
  • Remain updated on procedures and adhere to them to maintain compliance.
  • Participate in training activities to enhance sales skills and knowledge.
