Key Responsibilities:
  • Site Evaluation: Perform thorough assessments of sites to identify potential challenges and opportunities for upcoming projects.
  • Engineering Design: Create comprehensive engineering drawings and specifications for site improvements, including grading, drainage, and utility layouts.
  • Regulatory Adherence: Maintain compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations by keeping informed about zoning laws, environmental standards, and permitting processes.
  • Project Oversight: Manage civil engineering projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring quality standards and timelines are met.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with architects, landscape architects, environmental specialists, and other professionals to develop integrated and functional site designs.
  • Construction Management: Provide on-site engineering support during construction phases to resolve any technical issues and ensure alignment with approved designs.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure project deliverables meet established standards.
  • Client Engagement: Effectively communicate with clients to understand their requirements, present design options, and address any concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is advantageous.
  • Over 10 years of experience in civil engineering, particularly in site development and infrastructure.
  • Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and permitting procedures.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Dedicated to sustainability and innovative practices in civil engineering.
