Job Title: Development Director

The Development Director plays a pivotal role in advancing the mission of the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth by securing philanthropic support for Nolan Catholic. This position requires a strategic thinker who can build relationships, develop fundraising plans, and execute campaigns to meet the school's goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute an annual fundraising plan with measurable financial targets in alignment with the school's mission.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners to secure gifts and grants.
  • Collaborate with the Head of School, Director of Operations, and other stakeholders to develop and implement fundraising strategies.
  • Manage the school's alumni, alumni parent, friend/benefactor/prospect development database to ensure accurate and timely acknowledgments of contributions.
  • Develop and implement a three-year plan to centralize Viking (booster) Club contributions.
  • Work closely with the Advancement Foundation Grants and Foundation Director to research and pursue grant opportunities.
  • Represent the school at meetings of other development officers in the Diocese of Fort Worth.
  • Design and implement the appropriate analytical evaluation of all external relations outreach to measure fundraising success and establish following year goals and objectives.

  • Flexibility, energy, stamina, integrity, and foresight to successfully navigate inevitable challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect with families who desire an education at Nolan Catholic.
  • Strong collaboration with others and the ability to systematically gather input prior to developing strategies and solutions.
  • Utilize current technology as it pertains to the outcomes of raising philanthropic dollars to support the mission of Nolan Catholic.
  • Ability to think critically and reflectively and to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
