This includes cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individual, foundation, and corporate support for the university. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of raising major gifts and managing a donor portfolio.

Responsibilities:
  1. Cultivate and steward relationships with donors, alumni, and other stakeholders to advance the university's mission.
  2. Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet annual goals and objectives.
  3. Manage a portfolio of donors and prospects, including identifying, qualifying, and soliciting major gifts.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues across the university to advance the development mission.
  5. Stay up-to-date on best practices in development and fundraising, and apply this knowledge to improve our efforts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree plus three years development or sales experience, or a combination of education and/or related experience equal seven years.
  • Proven track record of raising major gifts and managing a donor portfolio.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional initiative and the ability to work with limited direct supervision.
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
