Transform Lives as a Regional Director of Programs

At First Place for Youth, we're dedicated to empowering transition-age foster youth to achieve their dreams and build a brighter future. As a Regional Director of Programs, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the success of our programs and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage multiple programs and services, ensuring high-quality delivery and effective operations.
  • Develop and implement program models, selecting and operationalizing innovative approaches to drive measurable success and program growth.
  • Recruit, select, train, and develop a high-performing team, empowering them to elevate their levels of responsibility, span-of-control, and performance.
  • Manage budgets, contracts, and fiscal health, ensuring the financial sustainability of programs and services.
  • Represent the agency and advance its reputation with external stakeholders, including partners, sub-contractors, and county agencies.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field required; LCSW or MFT with two years post-licensure experience preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of supervisory/management experience, with three years in a team management role; relevant leadership experience may be considered.
  • At least five years of progressive responsibility working with foster or former foster youth, with milieu or wraparound experience preferred.
