Route Sales Representative

As a Route Sales Representative at Primo Water, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle and efficiently managing a customer base within an established route. This role requires strong customer service and sales skills, as well as the ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Safely Operate a Commercial Vehicle: Ensure that all duties are performed in a safe manner, including vehicle inspections and maintenance.
- Manage Customer Base: Efficiently manage a customer base within an established route, with an average of 50+ stops per day.
- Use Application-Based Handheld System: Key transactions and manage customer data using a handheld system.
- Manage Inventory and Balance Daily Route Activities: Complete daily route activities, including managing inventory and balancing daily activities.
- Complete Service Calls and Resolve Customer Issues: Develop relationships with customers by resolving issues and completing service calls.
- Protect Company Assets: Collect equipment and customer payments, and identify opportunities to acquire new long-term customers to support route growth and ability to upsell current products.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- CDL Class B license.
- Ability to adhere to Primo Water Motor Vehicle Policy.
- Ability to meet ongoing federal DOT physical requirements and testing.
- Basic computer/data entry skills and math abilities.
- Customer service and some sales experience preferred.
- Must be able to safely lift bottles and equipment weighing up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to climb stairs.
- Some traveling required based on company needs.
