Role Summary

As a Pharmacy Analytics Specialist at AmeriPharma, you will play a crucial role in interpreting data derived from pharmacy operations and systems.

Work Schedule

  • On-site position
  • Standard workweek, 8 hours per day within regular business hours

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluating prescription data to uncover trends and insights that enhance operational performance
  • Generating various reports, including business intelligence, productivity, financial, clinical, forecasting, and inventory analytics to support informed decision-making
  • Developing and maintaining databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility
  • Conducting routine data audits to identify inconsistencies or anomalies impacting business outcomes
  • Collaborating with pharmacy operations and other departments to guarantee data accuracy and relevance
  • Establishing and refining data analysis methodologies to uphold data quality

Qualifications Required

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is essential
  • A Master's degree and additional training in data analytics are preferred. Experience in pharmacy and healthcare sectors is advantageous

Skills and Experience

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, and other database applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights
  • Excellent communication skills to convey intricate data findings to stakeholders in a clear manner
  • Effective organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
  • A genuine interest in research and data analytics to enhance data collection and analysis techniques
  • Basic understanding of pharmacy operations, revenue cycle management, and inventory control
