Job Summary:

The Front Desk Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our residents and guests. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check-in guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience

• Verify residency and provide access to the gym and other facilities

• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setting up and securing the fitness facility

• Offer support and guidance to residents and visitors on the use of fitness equipment and facilities

• Supervise the proper use and storage of equipment, ensuring a safe and clean environment

• Enforce gym rules and regulations, promoting a positive and respectful atmosphere

• Collaborate with group instructors and assist with signing in or signing up for group classes

• Report any cleanliness or janitorial issues to management immediately

• Maintain audio equipment and ensure a pleasant music experience for residents and guests

• Wear provided uniform and maintain a strong presence throughout the shift

• Provide vacation and time-off coverage as needed

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of related experience and/or training in the fitness or customer service industry

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software

• CPR/First Aid Certification a plus

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 50 pounds, and regularly sit, stand, walk, squat, open doors, and climb/descend stairs

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to attendance and punctuality

• Ability to plan, budget, schedule staff and resources effectively and efficiently

• Treats others with respect, shows sensitivity to and respect for cultural differences, and supports a diverse workforce

• Maintains confidentiality and discretion with regard to sensitive proprietary and confidential information of the company, residents, and customers

Pay Range: $18.05-$24.50/hr
