  • Lead projects from requirement gathering to deployment, defining schedules, scopes, budget estimates, and implementation plans, including risk management strategies.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and changes. Report and escalate issues to management as necessary.
  • Develop and sustain enduring client relationships centered around the use and awareness of Dimensions tools and updates.
  • Assist clients in achieving their objectives through implementation, training, and ongoing support for all subscribed Dimensions tools and services.
  • Manage the delivery of the Dimensions product and analytical support across the team, considering workload, skill sets, customer familiarity, and other relevant factors.
  • Support clients in the responsible use of data and information for critical decision-making (e.g., funding allocations).
  • Evaluate project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Conduct risk management to minimize project-related risks.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • When necessary, perform tasks on behalf of other team members.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure high-quality project delivery on time and within budget.
  • Understand and address clients' business needs and use cases, aligning them with Dimensions data and tools.
  • Provide timely responses and advice on all aspects of Dimensions offerings to both the research and analysis community and the Digital Science team.
  • Assist leaders of science funding organizations in utilizing tools and analyzing data for key decisions regarding scientific research funding, portfolio management, and evaluation.

Qualifications

  • Comfortable working independently and remotely, as well as in a fast-paced, highly collaborative team environment.
  • Experience in managing analysis and support tasks, along with basic IT knowledge.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple time zones, with prior experience in global collaboration across various teams.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in an IT/software-related field, delivering configured commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products.
  • Understanding of the Science & Technology ecosystem (funders, research organizations, scientific publishing, etc.), including knowledge of scientific research funding and interest in bibliometrics, scientometrics, research assessment, and science policy.
  • Familiarity with research data (publications, grants, patents), including common issues such as author and institutional disambiguation, classification, and linkages.
  • Proven success in collaborating with all levels of management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to scope, deadlines, and budgetary constraints.
  • Adept at managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • A collaborative team player with outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Composed demeanor when working under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining customer relationships in a collaborative multi-organization environment.
  • Strong communicator capable of conveying information to diverse audiences through written and verbal presentations.
  • Experience in developing new customer-facing documentation and interactive training materials for online tools, including workshop-style sessions.
