Job Overview

As a Retail Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting all aspects of store management and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and departmental functions.
  • Contribute to purchasing decisions and operational directives to enhance store performance.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for the academic community.
  • Drive sales initiatives and identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Engage in team management, including training, directing, and mentoring staff to promote enthusiasm around our offerings.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and appealing sales environment for customers.
  • Handle customer and employee inquiries with professionalism and respect.
  • Participate in the hiring and onboarding process for new team members.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to move throughout the store to access various departments and products.
  • Capability to remain stationary for extended periods.
  • Frequent lifting and occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, and climbing.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Understanding of financial principles and customer service practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities.
