Role Overview
The Dispensary Manager is essential in cultivating a patient-focused culture within the retail environment. This role is responsible for crafting and executing strategies that align with sales, service, and operational objectives, ensuring optimal profitability while upholding our company standards. The position reports directly to the Director of Retail Operations and collaborates closely with security teams to maintain a safe environment for both staff and patients. Compensation includes a competitive base salary along with performance-based incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and lead a team to foster a patient-centric atmosphere that enhances patient satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Deliver outstanding service by engaging with patients, addressing their needs, and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies, including inventory and employee management.
  • Maintain a clean and secure environment for employees and patients, covering all areas of the dispensary.
  • Adapt to evolving situations while consistently meeting performance targets.
  • Provide constructive feedback to team members to support their professional growth.
  • Oversee the implementation of tools and systems to effectively meet patient demands.
  • Manage the recruitment, hiring, and training processes in line with HR policies.
  • Drive merchandising and operational standards to enhance the overall store experience.
  • Engage with the community to build positive relationships and enhance brand visibility.
  • Support and initiate changes in policies and procedures as the organization evolves.
  • Conduct performance evaluations in collaboration with Human Resources.
  • Oversee the dispensary's financial performance and manage expenses effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with cash handling and inventory protocols.
  • Coordinate staff schedules to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of 4 years of proven leadership and management experience in a customer-focused retail environment.
  • Ability to pass a background screening as required by state regulations.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems and technology for operational tasks.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Background in Business, Marketing, Retail, or a related field is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Capability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Familiarity with Florida's Medical Marijuana Regulations is advantageous.
