Overview of the Recruitment Specialist Role:
The Recruitment Specialist will oversee the complete recruitment process in targeted regions. This position involves hands-on responsibilities for end-to-end recruiting, employee engagement, and contributing to training initiatives. Additionally, the Recruitment Specialist will facilitate hiring efforts for new operational sites. Occasional travel may be required, based on specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong candidate pipeline by engaging with community organizations, local educational institutions, and networking within designated markets.
  • Identify the staffing needs of the region by collaborating with field management and workforce planning.
  • Leverage technology and social media platforms alongside traditional recruitment methods to attract top talent.
  • Stay informed about talent acquisition trends and shifts through research, focusing on data, metrics, and industry best practices to enhance recruitment strategies.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication with candidates and workforce scheduling throughout the entire recruitment cycle.
  • Engage in the complete employment lifecycle from applicant to employee by facilitating proper communication, training, and onboarding prior to scheduling. Maintain regular interactions with employees to assess engagement and explore referral opportunities.
  • Utilize an applicant tracking system to keep all information current throughout the interview and hiring phases.
  • Work collaboratively with human resources to ensure accurate onboarding, compliance, and employee documentation at the time of hire.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications for the Recruitment Specialist:

  • Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a recruiting role or as a Retail Store Manager.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Must demonstrate trustworthiness, integrity, a customer-focused mindset, and a results-oriented approach, while being adaptable to change.
  • Ability to work autonomously in an office setting and achieve sustainable outcomes with minimal oversight.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking and HRIS systems (experience with Kronos/UKG Ready is advantageous) and proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • A solid employment history, with no more than three positions held in the last six years.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Must successfully pass a drug screening and thorough background investigation.
